Rebel Radio Loses One Of Our Own
Rebel Radio is deeply saddened to report the loss of one of our own. Darren "DMan" Fude passed away Saturday(October 24th) at the age of 47. DMan started out as just another fan of the station, but quickly became one of the staff. His passion for the station and for the music earned him several roles with us. Doing everything from being our "Man on the street" giving away tickets to listeners, to helping with sales, and even throwing him on air from time to time. Anyone who's listened to the station in the last five years or so has heard his voice or probably ran into him a show or two. He was always happy and full of energy, which often rubbed off on the rest of us. Metal wasn't just his favorite type of music, it was a lifestyle for him and he introduced his children to the world of metal as well. Atleast once a week, sometimes daily, he would have his then four year old daughter call up and request "Three Little Pigs," which would often put a smile on this morning DJs face. To say the world lost a great soul and person is an understatement. DMan will definitely missed. Our hearts and thoughts go out to his family and all his friends during this difficult time. Information for services for DMan have yet to be announced.
